About my artwork
Having grown up on the remote island of Fair Isle and now living and working in Shetland, I have a close connection with the coastal environment and dramatic weather experienced in these islands.
While walking the coastline of Shetland I make quick responses to the landscape in my sketchbook, recording the land and sea as I see it, experimenting with various different mediums, predominantly printmaking and painting.
